Prof. Richard Barker, OBE, FRSM, HFBPS
Richard Barker is a senior leader in the global life sciences sector. His professional interests focus on innovation and translation in precision medicine and precision health, drawing on his 30-year career in senior roles in biopharmaceuticals (Director General of the ABPI, UK and NED at Celgene, US), diagnostics (CEO of Chiron Diagnostics, US) and medical informatics (Global General Manager of IBM Healthcare). He chaired the Population Health section of the recent UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on Health Longevity.

Maria is a world-traveler, distance walker, Emmy award-winning television show producer, and writer. She was one of the original producers of the U.S. hit series, CBS ‘Survivor’. She also has Executive Produced various docuseries for A&E, CBS, Discovery, ESPN, History, Lifetime, National Geographic, TNT, and Travel. She has devoted years of study to understanding the art and science of happiness and mindfulness to helping others live the best versions of themselves.
Lakshmi Pratury
Lakshmi is an entrepreneur, curator, speaker, and people collector. She co-hosted inaugural TEDIndia in 2009 with Chris Anderson, after which she founded INK Conference. She is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including Forbes’ 2010 list of “Women to Watch in Asia“. Prior to this she spent two decades in technology, venture capital, and non-profit industries.
Baroness Cavendish of Little Venice
Baroness Cavendish is a British journalist, senior fellow at Harvard University, former Director of Policy for Prime Minister David Cameron, and a Conservative Member of the House of Lords in Cameron’s resignation honours. She is the author of “Extra Time: Ten Lessons for an Aging World“ focused on longevity. She has led many think tanks, nonprofits, policy groups, and was ranked the fifth-most influential woman in the UK in the BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour 2015 PowerList.
Prof. Clive Grinyer
Clive is an acknowledged expert in service design, design thinking and digital and technology innovation who has led award-winning design teams for companies around the globe. In 2018 Clive was named in Creative Review's Top 50 as 'a passionate advocate for the transformational potential of design for some three decades.'
Clive started in design consultancy IDEO in London and San Francisco before co-founding design company Tangerine with future Apple design chief and RCA Chancellor Jony Ive. He is currently Director for Design at the Design Council and Head of Programme for Service Design at RCA.
Dr. Anders Sandberg
Dr Anders Sandberg is a philosophy with a background in computer science, neuroscience and medical engineering. His work at the Future of Humanity Institute at University of Oxford centres on management of low-probability high-impact risks, estimating the capabilities of future technologies, and very long-range futures. Topics of particular interest include machine learning, ethics, global catastrophic risk, cognitive enhancement, future studies, neuroethics, and public policy.
Dr. Stuart Armstrong
Stuart Armstrong’s research at the Future of Humanity Institute at University of Oxford centers on the safety and possibilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI), how to define the potential goals of AI and map humanity’s partially defined values into it, and the long term potential for intelligent life across the reachable universe. He has been working with organizations such as DeepMind to formalize AI desiderata in general models so that AI designers can include these safety methods in their designs. His collaboration with DeepMind on “Interruptibility” has been mentioned in over 100 media articles.
Anand Gandhi
Anand Gandhi is a filmmaker and a media producer based in Mumbai most known for his feature films Ship of Theseus and Tumbbad. Ship of Theseus won the National Film Award for Best Picture, which is considered India's equivalent of the Best Picture Oscar. It has been acknowledged unanimously as a landmark in contemporary Indian cinema. His work has been acquired by Netflix, Amazon, Disney and Channel 4 among others.
