“The most exciting breakthroughs of the 21st century will not occur because of technology, but because of an expanding concept of what it means to be human”

— John Naisbitt

  • What is happiness?

What is happiness? What is the future of happiness? What are the components for both short-term and long-term happiness? How to better measure happiness?

More importantly, how can we leverage technological advancements to help generations optimise key life decisions enabling sustainable happiness? For example, career choices, family planning, longevity, etc., under the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution?

  • Can technology help us create a joy economy?

We are entering a new economic paradigm marking the end of tracking productivity as the single metric for prosperity / human progress, can it be a joy economy? For example, can AI help us become the best versions of ourselves? Can it help us have a better understanding of our deepest needs and dreams, better connect with ourselves, with each other and with nature / the living planet? Can it help us become wiser?

  • What are the new Utopian visions when everything goes right?

Humanity will likely reach Technical Singularity in the coming century, what is our collective vision of the new Utopia under the context of exponential technological growth that can serve as the “North Star” for human progress and human empowerment? How can we optimise that vision or a proliferation of visions representing all possible wisdom from various human cultures on the planet?

Our Methodology

We collaborate with world-leading research institutions such as University of Oxford, Royal College of Art and World Economic Forum on research programmes. We aim to solve and scale happiness at scale, using disruptive technology, and leverage the 4th industrial revolution. We aim to influence innovation process and policy framework to unleash the potential of a market centred around joy creation and distribution.

Our research commercialisation arms work closely with venture capital and incubators in order to create a ecosystem for startups to prioritise happiness, wellbeing and fulfilment in the centre of their revenue generation

  • At the centre of our research is a fundamental value and ethics framework consolidating all existing literature and metrics on happiness, wellbeing and fulfillment.

  • Based on the value framework, we have developed a set of design principles in order to integrate happiness, wellbeing and fulfilment in everything we build, by design, from coffee cups, to architecture, and tech products.

  • Based on the value framework and design principles, a scoring system is introduced to measure level of happiness

  • We integrate advanced Fintech and DeFi solutions in providing incentives to products and services that perform well in the happiness score
